Sanctuaries

Busy lives searching for God need both a place and a fellowship. At one of the significant growth intervals of WOC Pastor Allen Jackson sought a worship strategy that would allow more people to experience Saturday evening and Sunday services in ways they could better connect with others and be more comfortable in seeking God. This inspiration became a triad of 3 visually interlocking sanctuaries each with distinct and inspiring architectural designs, worship teams and state of the art sound and video technology. Each sanctuary has multi-view screens and provides a variety of distinct seating arrangements and ease of finding a favorite spot.

Each sanctuary becomes multi use as well. These creative spaces broaden the possibilities for programs and ways to inspire people to connect and become comfortable with interactive Bible studies promoting open dialogue and greater opportunities for invitation and outreach.

What to expect when you visit:

All services begin with a time of praise and worship conducted by three teams of singers and musicians. Pastor Allen Jackson's sermon, given live in All Nations Sanctuary, is then broadcast into New Harvest Sanctuary and Genesis Sanctuary. His messages are practical and geared to living a Godly life, fully devoted to Jesus Christ, in today's world.

For Your First Visit:

Select the service time that best meets your needs. Saturday, 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 7:00 p.m. Sunday, 8:30 a.m. Sunday, 10:30 a.m. Adult worship and Children's Ministries classes run concurrently and last approximately 1-½ hours. Please use the New Salem Road/Hwy. 99 entrance and park in the visitor parking area. If this lot is full, there is additional parking on the opposite side of the building.

If you have children, WOC offers programs for all ages. WOC's Children's Ministries program provides a warm and inviting environment that strives to develop and strengthen your child's relationship with God. The safety and well being of your child is paramount, and we practice security measures to best care for these little ones. Children's Ministries accommodates nursery - 6th grade at all weekend services. Students 7th grade and older are part of the regular adult services. Please look in Student Ministries for information on our programs for Jr. and Sr. High students. Please go to the registration tables at the entrances of the preschool and elementary classroom areas to find the appropriate class for your child and to receive a temporary ID badge for you. Persons without an identification badge will not be allowed in the classroom areas. After receiving your temporary badge, volunteers will assist in getting your child to the correct classroom. Once your child is settled, please proceed into the courtyard area to the worship center. For more information on security procedures see the Children's Ministries page.

 

Options for Sanctuary Seating:

The Sanctuary of All Nations is located to the left after entering the lobby of the Worship Center and the New Harvest Sanctuary is to the right.

OPTION 1 FOR SANCTUARY SEATING:
All Nations' design is theater style, seating 900. A time of praise and worship begins the service and Pastor Jackson speaks live in this room for the Saturday evening and Sunday morning services.

OPTION 2 FOR SANCTUARY SEATING
New Harvest Sanctuary's more contemporary setting utilizes rows of chairs, along with groupings of tables and chairs. This room has the capacity for 450 people. A team of singers and musicians leads praise and worship in New Harvest, and then Pastor Jackson's live sermon from All Nations is projected onto large video screens. You may enjoy a cup of coffee at your table before the service in New Harvest.

OPTION 3 FOR SANCTUARY SEATING
Genesis Sanctuary is another video venue for worship services.  As in New Harvest Sanctuary, live praise and worship begins each service, with Pastor Allen’s presentation shown on screens that include a 40-foot video wall.  The seating configuration for 450 people uses tables and chairs, and coffee is available at the beginning of worship service in Genesis Sanctuary. The Infinity/Student Ministries program utilizes this room for worship and meetings on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Visit the Welcome Centers in the lobby of the Worship Center. Two Centers are manned with WOC members who will answer any questions you may have and present you with a small gift. Browse in the Resource Center where CD's of Pastor Jackson's sermon can be purchased. There is currently a wonderful photographic display of images from Israel. If your children attended a class in the Children's Worship Center, they will be waiting in their classroom for you to pick them up. Remember, you must wear your temporary ID badge to enter the classroom areas. Pastor Jackson invites new members/visitors to an introductory class called New Beginnings that is held on a regular basis.
