What is Christian character?

The best way to learn is by building it for yourself! Character Quest is a day camp held each summer on the campus of WOC for youth who have finished 4th, 5th or 6th grades.

Character Quest 2008 is scheduled for June 16-20.  We invite all 4th-6th grade children to participate.  Our Character Quest theme for CQ 2008 is “What are you on a QUEST for?” We will spend Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm each day engaging in activities that will develop leadership and positive character traits in our youth designed to influence others for Christ. 

Our 4th and 5th graders will spend their days participating in the exciting initiative games on WOC campus.  Some of these great games include the Zip Line, The Giant Swing, High Ropes, Climbing Tower, and The Flying Squirrel.  They will also participate in a ½ day of swimming at the Sports Com.  Praise and Worship are a daily part of the schedule.  Team building tasks and a service project will be completed by all.

Our 6th graders will spend part of their time at New Frontiers facilities in Dowelltown, TN.  (www.newfrontiers.org) There they will participate in some awesome adventures such as canoeing, paint ball target games, ground focus equine experiences, caving, and ropes and zip line challenges in their brand new Adventure Pavilion.
