Supporting Our Community

Boys' and Girls' Club Stake and Burger

WOC has been the host site for the Boys and Girls Club annual “Stake and Burger” event for several years. In 2009, a tornado devastated the Boys’ and Girls’ Club facility just days before the event, leaving it unusable. World Outreach Church provided a location to hold the event that year and the organization has returned each year since.

One Goal Sports

Leadership Park at World Outreach Church has served as a practice and game site for Coach Pitch/Tee Ball for One Goal Sports for several years. This organization’s mission is to provide fundamental sports experiences to youth where the love of Jesus Christ is shared and demonstrated. This program trains and equips coaches to emphasize the fundamental skills for sport development. Throughout the season, coaches are encouraged to share a brief weekly Bible devotional with the team and challenge the players to memorize a specific verse that corresponds with the devotional.

One Goal Sports’ mission teaches that even within a Christ-centered organization, the competitive drive to win and ever improve should not diminish. The difference is teaching the players how to respond through adversity. There is nothing wrong with losing, nor is there anything wrong with winning so long as personal integrity is not compromised. World Outreach Church is a practice and game site for Tee Ball and host site for Uniform Night and Celebration Night.

The American Red Cross

The American Red Cross conducts blood drives at World Outreach Church several times each year. We are blessed to have donors to fill all the spots scheduled for each drive. WOC is also a Red Cross disaster shelter site when they had a need.

Special Kids

World Outreach Church hosted the Special Kids Friendraiser on July 19. Special Kids is a Christian, nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic rehabilitation and professional nursing services to children with special needs. The organization began in 1998 and started with just one child. Since then, Special Kids has served over 2,000 children from 11 different counties in Middle Tennessee.
