Imagine programs for your children that create positive identity with life goals. 'Christ-based initiatives to help children of all ages soar to maturity,' defines the way we creatively form curriculum that also brings positive perspective to families. A warm welcome and excitement of ultimate faith-building opportunities for infants and children through 6th grade are yours at WOC.
Infinity is what WOC has named its one-of-a-kind program for 7th-12th grade students. When young people become engaged in purpose-driven interaction with each other, a huge thing happens -- they discover meaningful goals and ideas become more dynamic; they take bigger steps, God directed. Friends are always made welcome too. With an energized focus on building the person with the unsurpassed attributes of God, great things happen.
At WOC the expanded variety of 'get-together groups' form a nucleus so engaging that now several thousand folks, broken into 8-16 person groups, become learning teams that in their own way are changing the globe! Bible study made to fit into the things that most define life -- this kind of fellowship becomes the relationship you can count on when a challenge comes. "Come as you are, come as you want to be," not only does this phrase become a beacon of invitation for the whole church, it is the cause and effect of this wide spread WOC program that's based upon real substance of hope and becoming.
There are so many talented musicians, vocalists and folks who have the gift of expression that the worship teams at WOC are their own concert of tremendous talent. Live audience opportunities, special praise and worship services, producing albums to cover the globe -- these teams share their abundant gifts with the congregation on a weekly basis. Scripture tells about King David and the many ways he served the Lord in joy and thanksgiving. At WOC the Psalms of praise form a backdrop of our identity. Each worship experience is a celebrated time, a gift to God and one another.
More than 7,000 people come on to the WOC campus each week. Our facilities ministry group insures that each member and guest has a positive experience the moment they come into the WOC facilities where a bountiful environment of rest, enjoyment and learning about God awaits them. All the spaces at WOC are designed to create talking opportunities, connecting spots that are refreshed daily to say, welcome!
We are a giving, generous church deploying the gifts and energy of a congregation desiring to reach out and go forward. Each gift, offering and tithe is accounted for in God-centered ways. Records of business are expertly created and church members are provided quarterly, detailed reports auditing each recorded contribution. The integrity of this department has met superior audit reviews.
One of the most humbling words of encouragement we hear is reflected towards personal ministry. From the daily prayer team that gathers every morning of the year at 6:30 a.m. to pray for members of our church, our community and for people all across the world -- we seek ways to touch every member of our church first. Each week you will find welcome areas encouraging questions and helping you connect with all aspects of the WOC family. We hope that no one ever feels left on their own when they need encouragement and guidance. Our staff is accustomed to taking time—to engage in one-on-one ministry that sets WOC apart.
